Le Peltier Alexane

I started learning to play the double bass at the age of 13, but I've practised various artistic activities for a long time, including the flute and singing, having spent most of my schooling in a Steiner school. As well as retaining an appreciation of all artistic forms (music, visual arts, literature, etc.), I believe that respecting children's rhythms, and those of pupils in general, is fundamental to encouraging curiosity and personal development, and to creating a quality working environment. I then decided to become a double bass player: I took a literary baccalaureate with a major in music, which enabled me to acquire the basics of musicology and to sing in a choir. During my studies, I had the opportunity to change teachers several times, which was enriching for me from a pedagogical point of view. I also took part in double bass training courses and orchestral sessions.
